I remember when I thought people in their 20’s were adults. Now all of my friends are in their 20’s and everybody is just kind of fumbling around bumping into each other, trying to figure out where the free food is……

so every year after the juniors finish reading The Great Gatsby my high school english teacher throws a Gatsby party at his huge house and everyone shows up in period clothing and Charlestons to 20s music and my english teacher just wears a suit and stands off to the side staring wistfully out the window the entire night

Wow okay so I’m really excited because I graduated magna cum laude and I didn’t think I would and I’m just really fucking excited because it definitely made my graduation awesome.
#not to mention that the audience was told to be quiet #and when this one kid zac went up #to get his diploma #a whole bunch of people started yelling #and our principal was having an anurism #and we were all laughing on the floor #also a pregnantwoman faiinted and we had to call the fire department and paramedics #but that wasnt fun

I fucking hate it when you’re in such a fantastically giddy mood and then you see one simple little thing that makes you think, “oh” and then you just get this empty feeling in your chest and you get nauseous and the world just crumbles and you want to just lay under a blanket and close your eyes and fall asleep and never wake up.
